Michael directs pre-construction activities throughout North America, including final design review and development of scope of work and pricing; bid analysis and review; subcontractor/vendor selection and coordination; and procurement. He manages and develops strategic relationships with contractors, manufacturers, and distributors.
Michael brings over 30 years of specialized construction experience with federal and state mechanical HVAC-electrical applications and installations. Prior to GreenGen, Michael was Senior Mechanical Estimator for Foulger-Pratt in their Complete Mechanical & Electrical Solutions Division. Previously, he was a general contractor and broker-realtor in Utah and Nevada, and also worked in practical estimation and design-build. Michael has served two years as a sheet metal instructor and more recently as the 2014 Chairman of the Craft Training Committee for The Associated Builders and Contractors of Washington, DC Metro Chapter.
Michael holds a B.S. in Business Management from University of Maryland University College with an emphasis on contracts and supply chain management. He is an active member in the US Green Building Council Capital Region, Associated Builders and Contractors-Washington Metro Region, and the Washington DC Chapter of the Project Management Institute. He holds the following certifications:
